Building a Business: Certified Family Child Care Management Training
For the first time we will be offering this 12 month cohort group training for Certified Family Child Care Owner/Operators. Staff of Certified Family Child Care or Registered Family Providers who want to become Certified will also be considered. Participant applications are due by August 24th.

Oregon Child Care Director Certificate Training Series

Thanks to funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provided through the Oregon Child Care Division, the Director Certificate Training Series will be returning for the sixth year. Applications are now closed for this year but will re-open in the September.

Growing the Profession Leadership Training

A diverse group of early childhood professional and students have explored personal identity, purpose, and responsibility in the field of Early Care and Education. Regional Summits have resulted in regional action plans to foster increased professional engagement and increase community support for ECE. To join in on-going group work contact Christyn.

A final Growing the Profession Summit will be held for representatives from Lane and Douglas Counties, Friday and Saturday, August 27-28, 2010. Attendance at both days is required.

Take Your Child Care Experience to College

Do you want college credit for your CDA or Step 7 on the Oregon Registry?
Information on the Articulation Project can be found at the Child Care Division website under CCD Funded Programs, then Virtual Degree or directly at this link.
