Oregon Child Care Director Certificate Training Series

Applications for 2011-2012 are now closed. For your future planning you must currently be employed in a licensed child care CENTER and you MUST have a Step on the Oregon Registry. If you have questions about the Oregon Registry, please contact the Oregon Center for Career Development www.centerline.pdx.edu

Building a Business: Certified Family Child Care Management Training

Applications are closed for the second cohort. Certified Family Child Care Owner/Operators are the primary particpants. Staff of Certified Family Child Care or Registered Family Providers who plan to become Certified will also be considered. Future Cohorts will depend on state, federal and private funding.

Take Your Child Care Experience to College

Do you want college credit for your CDA or Step 7 on the Oregon Registry?
Information on the Articulation Project can be found at the Child Care Division website under CCD Funded Programs, then Virtual Degree or directly at this link.

Scholarships for Training

If you are are Registered Family Child Care Provider, Certified Family Home or Center staff, staff of an After-school program or Head Start, there is professional development money available. For information on scholarship assistance through the Betty Gray Early Childhood Inititative of the Oregon Community Foundation, contact the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education.
