Kindergarten Seminar - Saturday, October 4th

"A to Z Kindergarten Style" is a not to be missed experience for anyone in a Kindergarten classroom. Last year's particpants said, "awesome practical ideas, appreciated the take home materials, wonderful!." Diane Bonica and Shelley Orchard present this session in their Kindergarten classrooms. This seminar does qualify for John & Betty Gray Scholarships through the Career Develoment Center (see below). You can also combine this full day Seminar with at least one day of the OregonAEYC Fall Conference to qualify for optional credit through Portland State University.

Take Your Child Care Experience to College

Do you want college credit for your CDA or Step 7 on the Oregon Registry?
Information on the Articulation Project can be found at the Child Care Division website under CCD Funded Programs, then Virtual Degree or directly at this link.

Child Care Director Certificate Training Series

Are you are Director, Assistant Director or other lead staff in a licensed child care center? Would you like to be part of the next cohort of 20 participants selected for this program.
To learn more about the project see this Information Sheet.
Application will open for the 2008-2009 Cohort in mid-September. Application will be sent to all who have requested to be on the list. If you want to receive an application please email Merrily.

If you are are Registered Family Child Care Provider, Certified Family Home or Center staff, staff of an After-school program or Head Start, there is professional development money available. For information on scholarship assistance through the John & Betty Gray Early Childhood Inititative of the Oregon Community Foundation, contact the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care and Education.
