Federal Policy Issues
Most of the funding for child care in Oregon, other
than the fees paid by parents, comes from the federal
government. For information on public policy issues
at the federal level and to join the Children’s
Champions alert system, please visit NAEYC’s Children’s
Early Learning Council
Part of the Council's work is the Oregon Kindergarten
Assessment. This is a sample of one of the tools that
